Install the app on your phone

SiteProof installs straight from your browser. You do not need an App Store or Google Play account, and there is nothing to download from a store.

iPhone and iPad

  1. 1Open this page in Safari. It has to be Safari — from Chrome on an iPhone the option does not appear.
  2. 2Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. 3Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4Tap “Add”. The SiteProof icon is now on your home screen.

Android

  1. 1Open this page in Chrome.
  2. 2Tap the three-dot menu, top right.
  3. 3Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
  4. 4Confirm. The icon sits with your other apps.

What works with no signal

Everything you do on a job: opening your jobs, directions, before and after photos, ticking tasks off, extra photos. It is all saved on the phone and sent when you get service again.

What it cannot do

Two things need signal: signing in for the first time on a new phone, and seeing jobs added since you last checked. Location is only recorded while a job is open on your screen — if the phone sleeps or you switch apps, it pauses. And on an iPhone we cannot send you a notification.

Your dispatcher gives you your username and PIN. If you do not have them, ask them — there is no public sign-up.
